Going for a walk on a Saturday evening on the Village is always an interesting thing to do. The usual stuff you can get is to see lots of different people, places and, why not, a Street Fair with all sorts of of different things, from live Jazz with lemonade (or maybe Veuve Clicquot?), and different places to buy different stuff (art, posters, facinators, shirts).
It is funny because not being an American always made me think that lemonade trucks were more a movie-thing. I must say I was quite impressed when I say this cute lemonade cart in the Fair.
And the Village is cool, cult, hip but it is also a fancy place:
