Kissing the war goodbye

I love this photo, and the wall made inspired on it above is absolutely crazy.

It is funny because when I first saw this photo, I've instantaneously imagined a veteran that returned anxiously from the war to the arm of his lover. I don't think I was the only one but the funny it is, for who may not know yet, they were completely strangers to each other at the time that occurred.

The photographer who took the photo, Alfred Eisenstaedt, has a great collection of photos. He was a good man to be at the right place, at the right time, with a camera in his hand.
